Hospital in the Clinic is part of an Emergency Department prevention strategy as well as helping to facilitate early discharge. Services offered: Wound Care IV Antibiotics (via Hospital in the Home (HITH) referral) Infusions All infusions require referral to a consultant with admitting rights for St Vincent’s hospital If you would like to refer a patient for an IV medication, please address your referral to the Nursing Unit Manager, Ambulatory Care All referral are triaged and discussed with the Medical Director. Who can use this service? people who are aged 16 years or older Ambulant (if non-ambulant please discuss with Nursing Unit Manager or in-charge before referring) Hospital in the Home (HITH) patients Who is unable to use this service?
