Course overview:

This program covers both the theoretical and practical aspects of urology and gynaecology nursing to provide participants with the foundational knowledge and skill required in these specialty area.

On completion of this program,  it is expected that participants will be able to:

  • Examine complications and trauma, their required interventions and nursing care, for a range of conditions affecting the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and the urethra
  • Compare urological investigations and clinical implications
  • Demonstrate skill in bladder irrigation (CBI and manual)
  • Appraise catheterisation (IDC & SPC) technique and management
  • Examine urological and gynaecological cancers

Cancellation past the 5 working days and before 24 hours prior to the program half refund will be issued.
Cancellation with 24hrs prior to the program no refund is issued.
