You are here:
Are you over 18 years old? Have you had a stroke more than three months ago? Do you still have problems with tightness in your arm? Has your Doctor recommended spasticity treatment?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in the InTENSE Trial, which is looking at whether intensive, evidence-based movement training after routine anti-spasticity intervention increases the amount of movement patients achieve in their arm and hand following a stroke.
Participants need to be willing to undertake an intensive exercise program and visit either St Vincent's Hospital (Darlinghurst) or St Joseph's Hospital (Auburn) regularly over a 12-week period. Some assistance with travel can be provided if required.
For more information or to find out if you are eligible, please call 0407 157 564.
