St Vincent's clinicians featured as "Makers of 2022"

29 Nov 2022

In a wonderful testament to the leadership and advocacy role St Vincents’ Profs Steven Faux and Anthony Byrne have played in the response to Long COVID, they have been named in the Good Weekend 52 Makers of 2022 list as “homegrown headliners shaking and stirring Australia this year”.

Making the list for their work in establishing Australia’s first dedicated multidisciplinary Long COVID clinic here at St Vincent’s, both have also been highly profiled in mainstream national media, advocating for Long COVID sufferers, with an added agenda of influencing federal establishment of dedicated services to treat people with Long COVID.

St Vincent’s have long been strong advocates for those in need, particularly where the health care needs of Australian’s are currently being unmet. Congratulations to Steven and Anthony as well as their team of medical, nursing and allied health clinicians.
