St Vincent’s lights up the Mardi Gras parade

11 Mar 2026

Our people took to the streets over the weekend, proudly marching in this year’s Mardi Gras parade in a vibrant celebration of diversity and inclusion.

St Vincent's employees were glowing in bright lights and our signature purple alongside thousands of other participants and spectators. Organised by our Pride Network, the St Vincent’s community showed up in full force, bringing plenty of energy and colour to one of Sydney's most iconic celebrations. Staff were united by their commitment to inclusive care, sending a strong message of support for LGBTQIA+ patients, staff and the broader community.

Footage of our people has also reached far and wide on social media, with a total reach so far of almost 200,000 users.

St Vincent's is deeply grateful to the Fletcher Family Endowment Programme for its continued commitment to supporting the St Vincent's Pride Network.
