St Vincent's success at NSW Health Excellence in Nursing & Midwifery Awards

St Vincent's is so proud to announce that three of our Nurses have been awarded a highly prestigious NSW Health Excellence in Nursing and Midwifery Award for 2023.

John McAllister - Nurse of the Year,
Anna Thornton - Judith Meppem Lifetime Achievement Award, and
Angela Kiss - Healing Heart Award – (Consumer Nominated)

To have three wins across eight possible awards state-wide is an incredible testament to the calibre of nurses we have here at St Vincent’s. We'd also like to congratulate Bernadette Findlay who was nominated for the Nursing Leadership Award.

While all of us are aware of the talent, expertise and passion exhibited by our St Vincent’s nursing colleagues on a daily basis across our Campus, it’s so lovely to see the same recognition of our people more broadly across the State.

They are truly representative of the consummate expertise of our nurses and the embodiment of our Sisters’ Mission.
