Working Together to Improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing

Working Together to Improve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Wellbeing

11 Nov 2021

Work is commencing to implement the strategic goals and direction of the New South Wales (NSW) Ministry of Health (MoH) Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategic Plan 2020-2025.

To facilitate, St Vincent's has established a working group to develop strategies across our health service, and we are now seeking the expertise and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to help us design and deliver the most effective models of care that best support mental health and wellbeing for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait community members.

This will involve two meetings over November and providing feedback via email.

If you identify as Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander and would like to help improve health outcomes for our First Nation's People, contact Jack Whitney, Operations and Strategy Lead for Integrated Care at Jack.Whitney@svha.org.au or (02) 8382 1519 .
