Their commitment to keeping our Hospital and the people of NSW safe has seen them increase service capacity to meet demand, and during community cluster events the lab team have been operating 24/7 to deliver results to the community as fast as possible. The role they have played and continue to play in response to this pandemic is vital to support the State's public health alerts, isolation advice and contact tracing efforts, key to the fast and effective management of spikes in COVID activity. In the December/January period alone the team tested in excess of 60,000 samples, in just 25 days. Thank you and Congratulations team SydPath!
