St Vincent's Health Network Sydney includes St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, Sacred Heart Heath Service, St Joseph’s Hospital Auburn and St Vincent’s Correctional Health at Parklea. We are part of St Vincent's Health Australia, the largest not for profit health service network in Australia. Our Registered Nurse Transition Program is offered across our Network.

Our Registered Nurse Transition Program is currently offered at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, and St Joseph's Hospital Auburn.
St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney is a principal referral and tertiary, public teaching hospital. St Joseph’s Hospital as a sister Hospital to St Vincent’s, is guided by the same governance structure and strategic endeavours. St Joseph’s has a proud tradition of more than 100 years of providing quality health care. The hospital provides inpatient, outpatient and community service, and is a center of excellence in rehabilitation, mental health for older people, Huntington Disease and palliative care.
Leave is accrued as per the AHO Award. Though this number can change based on the shifts and hours that you work.
Car park/Public Transport
The main St Vincent’s car park is located at 404 Victoria St, Darlinghurst and is operated by Secure Parking. The entrance from Victoria Street is via the entrance driveway to the main hospital foyer and close to the corner of Burton Street. Staff have access to a special rate and an additional car park onsite.
St Joseph’s Hospital car park is located at 2A Normanby Road, Auburn. This is a free car park and it is shared with hospital visitors. There are a small amount of positions reserved for staff parking.
Both hospitals are easily accessible by public transport with close proximity to train stations and bus stops.
There is ample parking for staff at Parklea Correctional Centre.
Cyclists can park their bicycles securely free of charge.
The Walter McGrath Library is the main library servicing St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney. The collection and resources support the general and specialist services provided on the Hospital campus.
The Walter McGrath Library is not open to the public and is only available to staff.
