As Chief Operating Officer, Chris leads the daily operations of the hospital and health services, ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality, and compassionate care for the communities we serve.
Chris brings a wealth of executive leadership experience across healthcare systems in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. This has included Chief Operating Officer roles in both New Zealand and the UK, as well as extensive experience developing integrated care models in both physical and mental health. Chris has also held roles at KPMG New Zealand and as the Interim Deputy Chief Executive at New Zealand’s Accident Compensation Corporation.
He has a strong track record in leading high performing healthcare teams, advancing digital and community-based care, and driving system-wide collaboration. He is committed to equity, system transformation, and mission-led care.
