Our Latest Appeal

St Vincent’s Curran Foundation is aiming to raise $332,000 to help equip St Vincent’s Hospital and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney’s Intensive Care Units with the latest ultrasound technology.

Ultrasound machines play a critical role in our ICUs, supporting a wide range of critical care situations. They give us a real-time view of the heart, essential for quick diagnosis and lifesaving treatment. Outdated equipment can mean the difference between life and death.

Mark Sackley, our grateful patient, recalls his experience with St Vincent’s hospital after he suffered a sudden cardiac arrest six years ago and credits his survival to the team and medical equipment at St Vincent’s.

Upgrading our hospitals’ ICU ultrasound equipment will not just continue to save lives for patients in critical situations like Mark, it will improve patient care outcomes for all of our heart patients. Read Mark’s story and donate here.
