Course overview:

St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney offers a 5 day initial accreditation course in which participants will take part in a series of lectures, undertake hands-on training with individual workstations, observe a demonstration of live case scanning techniques, and work through 100 library cases with our highly experienced level B reporting cardiologists.

This course satisfies the 40 hours of educational and hands-on coursework requirements as set out by the ANZCTCA Conjoint Committee for Level A Initial Accreditation in CTCA reporting, however, participants are advised that the Conjoint Committee guidelines also require them to complete an additional 50 live cases that are not part of any training course before granting Level A accreditation.

All course lectures and demonstration cases are held in our purpose-built Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre in Darlinghurst.

Speakers:

  • Prof Michael Feneley – Director of Cardiology / Director of the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre / Australian Level B accreditation
  • Dr Phillip Lo – Cardiologist/ Australian Level B accreditation
