Registered Nurse Transition Program

Registered Nurse Transition Program

The Registered Nurse Transition Program equips newly graduated Registered Nurses with the skills and confidence to excel in nursing. Within this 12 month program Nurses are supported and empowered to provide safe, efficient and effective nursing in what is their foundational, first year of practice.

We are firmly committed to the delivery of innovative and evidence-based practice in a supportive learning environment. We are passionate about providing a positive, challenging, enjoyable and inspiring workplace that has a lot to offer.

The Registered Nurse Transition Program is offered at St Vincent’s Hospital and St Joseph’s Hospital. The program is called GradStart within NSW Health.
