St Vincent's is working closely with NSW Health to help keep our patients, visitors and staff safe.

Please see the below important information about visiting, entry requirements, getting tested and how to keep yourself safe. 

Visiting hours


Effective immediately, visitors will not be permitted at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sacred Heart, The Kinghorn Cancer Centre, The O’Brien or St Joseph’s Hospital in Auburn, except on compassionate grounds such as end of life care.

We understand this is difficult for patients and their loved ones, and ask for your understanding and cooperation during this time.

Please consider staying in touch with loved ones via phone and/or face-time.

Conditions of entry

As a condition of entry into any of our facilities, including St Vincent's Hospital; Sacred Heart Health Service; The O'Brien Centre; The Kinghorn Cancer Centre; and St Joseph's Hospital in Auburn,  all visitors must adhere to the following:

  • Visitors are required to wear a mask upon entry and while within any of our facilities
  • Patients presenting directly from the community, inter and intra hospital transfers are required to wear a mask where able to do so
  • Check-in using our QR code on arrival and undergo thermal temperature screening
  • Use the hand sanitiser provided
  • Maintain 1.5 metre physical distance between yourself and others at all times.

COVID-19 Testing Clinic Locations & Operational Hours

St Vincent’s has two locations for  Coronavirus testing.

East Sydney Arts Centre

34-40 Burton Street

This clinic is open from 8.00am – 8pm, seven days a week (temporarily extended hours).
This clinic is only able to test adults.

Bondi Beach Drive-Thru Clinic   

Park Drive, Bondi Beach
Access via corner of Campbell parade and Beach road

Our Bondi Clinic is open 7.30am - 9pm, seven days a week (temporarily extended hours).

Please note: This clinic only tests individuals aged five years and older. Children under five years of age can attend Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick for testing.

Rushcutters Bay Park Pop-Up Clinic - Open from 23 June

Sir David Martin Reserve, New Beach Rd, Darling Point (Ruschutters Bay Park)

Starting 23 June 2021 this clinic will be open 8am to 6pm, 7 days, for walk-in tests only.

Please note: This clinic is only able to test individuals aged 5 years old and over. All children under 5 years old can attend the Prince of Wales Hospital testing clinic.

If your coronavirus test comes back positive, Public Health will contact you directly. If your coronavirus test comes back negative, you’ll be sent an SMS.

Test results can take up to 72 hours.

St Vincent's Vaccination Hub

Make a Booking online via the Vaccines Eligibility Checker

Should you make a booking at St Vincent's Vaccination Hub, please don't come to the Main Hospital.

170 Darlinghurst Road, Darlinghurst.
By appointment only

Some metred street parking is available. The nearest parking station can  be found at St Vincent's Hospital , just a 2 minute walk. Parking rates can be found here.
