Stimulant Check-in Clinic (S-Check)

Do you use Cocaine, Methamphetamine (Meth, ICE, Crystal, Speed, Base), MDMA or GHB?

At S-Check, we provide free medical check-ups and an opportunity to chat to a counsellor about your stimulant use.

Whether you’re thinking about using, you’ve just started using, or you’ve been using for a while, we’re here to help!

How can we help?

S-Check is a free confidential stimulant check-in clinic. We can help you:
  • Find out more about stimulants
  • Understand your use and talk about any concerns you have
  • Get a medical check-up
  • Work towards changes you’d like to see

Who can visit?

Anyone 18 years+ who wants to know more about the impacts of their use on their health and wellbeing, or who is concerned about the frequency or amount they’re using.

Our free clinic is based in Darlinghurst, however you do not need to live locally to visit. We are open to everyone.

What can I expect?

We’re guided by you.

When you drop in, you can chat to a counsellor about any questions or concerns you have and see a doctor for a confidential medical check-up (and have the results explained). If you want, we can also work with you to put together a plan to help you work towards any changes you’d like to see in your stimulant use.

Why should I get a check-up?

Many people who visit us say they start using stimulants for fun and in social settings, but over time the amount and / or frequency they use increases, which can impact their everyday functioning. Some people visit us if they have general questions about stimulant use and its effect on their health, especially if they have started to experience some negative side effects.

At S-Check you can learn more about your use and its impact in a safe space to help you make informed decisions moving forward.

What if I don't want to stop using?

That’s okay. You don’t need to want to stop using to see us.

We’re here to help you work towards the changes you want to see – whether that’s understanding more about your use, managing use, reducing or stopping. The ball is in your court.
