Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program (OACCP) You are here:HomeOur servicesList of servicesOsteoarthritis Chronic Care Program (OACCP) The Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program (OACCP) at St Vincent’s Hospital is for patients with a diagnosis of hip or knee Osteoarthritis. The OACCP is a 12-month program consisting of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Clinical Psychology. This multidisciplinary program provides comprehensive assessment and evidence-based treatment options to help patients: understand more about their condition improve their function and quality of life manage their pain and stiffness improve their muscle strength support their nutritional needs and support their psychological needs The OACCP is a requirement before joint replacement surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital and can help patients to recover faster after surgery. St Vincent’s Hospital OACCP will see: patients with a diagnosis of hip and/or knee osteoarthritis, living in the St Vincent’s Hospital catchment area, for non-surgical management as well as all patients having knee or hip joint replacement surgery at St Vincent’s Hospital Referrals Patients can be referred by health care practitioners using the forms below: Orthopaedic specialists Rheumatology specialists, GPs and OACCP coordinators from other programs across NSW Clinic Details: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm.
