Consultation Liaison Psychiatry You are here:HomeOur servicesList of servicesPsychologyConsultation Liaison Psychiatry Location Level 4, The O’Brien Centre, 390 Victoria Street, Darlinghurst About Us Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (CLP) comprises consultant psychiatrists, psychiatry registrars, a clinical nurse consultant and clinical psychologists. We provide mental health services to St Vincent’s Hospital for patients who have a primary medical condition and mental health concerns that are associated with, or exacerbated by, the medical condition. The service also provides advice and support for clinicians who have primary clinical responsibility for these patients. We offer short-to medium term mental health treatment to patients who have an ongoing relationship with the Hospital. The clinical psychologists specialise in cognitive and behavioural therapies and assist with illness-related difficulties including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, trauma, sleep difficulties, behavioural difficulties, and physical concerns, such as pain or fatigue. Referrals All referrals for CLP are made via the patient’s treating team.
