Neurosurgery

The St Vincent's Hospital Sydney Neurosurgery Department manages patients with surgical conditions affecting the neurological system. Acute and chronic disorders of the brain and spine are treated including tumours, traumatic injuries, movement disorders such as Parkinson Disease and Pituitary tumours. Furthermore spine disorders such as disc protrusion, canal stenosis and spondylolistesis are also treated. The Department has three registrar specialists working in the particular area of tumours.
