St Vincent’s Hospital meets the requirements of a Level II Trauma Centre as outlined in the Model Resource Criteria for Trauma Services in Australasia, of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS). Currently we are designated by the NSW Ministry of Health as a Major Trauma Service for our geographical area (Eastern Suburbs and City CBD). St Vincent’s supports St George Hospital which is designated a Major Trauma Service within our area of responsibility.
