Safe Haven Expression of Interest You are here:HomeOur servicesList of servicesSafe Haven Expression of Interest Lend your voice to suicide prevention in your Sydney city community As part of the NSW Strategic Framework for Suicide Prevention 2018-2023, St Vincent's Hospital Sydney, Roses in the Ocean and NSW Ministry of Health are partnering to bring together the voices and perspectives of those with a lived experience of suicidal distress, in the co-design of an alternative to an Emergency Department - Safe Haven. The Safe Haven will provide a non-clinical, warm, and welcoming space where people will be supported by Suicide Prevention peer workers and be able to access information and connections in the community. We are currently inviting expressions of interest from: Healthcare professionals with experience in public health, mental health, crisis support or other relevant areas People with lived experience of suicidal distress or of supporting someone who has experienced suicidal distress Please follow the above links for further information on how to get involved.
